On Wednesday, October 30, 2024, the Centre for Environment and Health Research and Training wrapped up the “3 Topics in 3 Months” webinar series, marking one of the key events in our 20th-anniversary celebrations.

The final webinar, titled “The Evolving Sustainability Landscape: Opportunities for Young Professionals,” was presented by our own Senior Consultant, Kojo Amoyaw-Osei.

Kojo is a seasoned Sustainability Strategist, Environmental and Social (E&S) impact assessment professional, and certified ESG Specialist (Corporate Finance Institute), with a decade of experience across multiple sectors. He is a Senior Consultant at CEHRT and serves as the Country Director for Dechomai Ghana, a social enterprise that promotes entrepreneurship and financial literacy among youth and marginalized groups. Additionally, he sits on the Dechomai Ltd (UK) Advisory Board, where he focuses on social impact and sustainable business growth.

Kojo also holds the role of Secretary of the International Association for Impact Assessment – Ghana, is an affiliate of the African Circular Economy Network, and a member of the Institute of Directors – Ghana.

He holds a BSc in Geological Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology, Kumasi (Ghana), and pursued postgraduate studies in Environmental and Social Entrepreneurship at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, with a focus on circular economy business models.
